Most of us, if not all, don't have any private means that would conveniently take us from point A to point B. Meaning, we don't have our own car to get us to where we wanna go. But Filipino as we are, this doesn't prevent us from pursuing our love to travel even if it means having to endure the inconvenience of transferring from one bus to another or even riding the national transportation of the country, the jeepney. Well taking public transportation has it's own few advantages but more of the disadvantage side if you would ask us. Anyway, you have the choice. If you have your own car then we highly recommend that you take and use it but if you don't have then may the good Lord have mercy on you. Just kidding. Yep, that is why we made this blog entry for you who's planning on a trip to Baguio but don't have the luxury of a private car. We're gonna mention the buses that is plying the Manila-Baguio-Manila route, their schedules and their terminals in Manila and in Baguio. VICTORY LINER BUS Now this one is the king of the road when it comes to the number of trips plying the Manila-Baguio route. They have schedules leaving Manila to Baguio and vice versa every hour. So that I guess is the reason why every time we leave for Manila we met lots of Victory Liner buses on the road particularly in SCTEX and NLEX. Aside from having the most number of buses, they also have the latest bus models. Buses are clean too and they got courteous and safety conscious staffs. Well they should or else they might contradict their company motto which is "We move people better..safer!" Victory Liner terminals in Metro Manila MANILA 551 Earnshaw St., Barangay 401, Sampaloc, Manila CALOOCAN 713 Rizal Avenue Ext, Caloocan City PASAY 651 EDSA Pasay City CUBAO 683 EDSA, Cubao, Quezon City Victory Liner terminal in Baguio City #002 Marcoville Baguio City Victory Liner bus schedules and fare Victory Liner contact information
GENESIS BUS/JOY BUS One would prefer Victory liner buses but in case where there are sudden surge of passengers going down to Manila or going up to Baguio and you're patience is running out already due to the long lines of those who are securing trip tickets, then this bus is a very good alternative. They recently changed their name from Genesis to North Genesis Transport and they also had a deluxe bus service which is the Joy Bus. Based on our experience, if you wanna get to where you wanna go much faster than the usual travelling time you should be expecting then better ride this bus line. One thing that is not quite good that we've noticed about Genesis is that they have a small terminal in Baguio City (or is it just a parking space for their buses as we don't really see any ticketing booth at all), Anyway, better to have an alternative than nothing at all. Genesis Transport terminals in Metro Manila CUBAO 704 EDSA Corner New York St., Brgy. E. Rodriguez Sr., Cubao, Quezon City AVENIDA Doroteo Jose Corner Oroquieta St., Avenida, Rizal, Manila Genesis Transport terminal in Baguio City Governor Pack Road, Baguio City Genesis Transport bus schedules and fare Genesis Transport contact information
Other Bus Transport plying the Manila-Baguio-Manila route DAGUPAN BUS These are the lesser known bus companies plying the Manila-Baguio-Manila route as most of their buses are concentrated with the Pangasinan route. Better alternative if you really don't have any choice aside from Victory and Genesis buses. They have their terminal in Cubao I believe and here in Baguio their terminal is located at Governor Pack Road near the University of the Cordilleras and SM City Baguio. SAULOG TRANSIT BUS A sister company of Dagupan Bus, this is also another alternative from other bus lines plying the Manila-Baguio-Manila route. They have smaller number of trips though going to Baguio City as they are much more concentrated with Manila, Cavite and Zambales routes. They have terminals in Pasay, Cubao, Coastal Mall in Parañaque City and in Avenida. Their Baguio terminal is located at Governor Pack Road just beside their sister company, the Dagupan Bus. So there you are folks. Hope that this guide will help you in making your travel to Baguio City a little less stressful. Enjoy and you are always welcome here in Baguio City. Note: The schedules, fares, company logos and images belongs to the respective bus companies. We are not connected with any of the above bus companies/lines and we are not authorized to book trips more so receive payments on their behalf.
Please Google the bus companies for their respective websites. This is just a guide for Christ sake.

Great site, thanks. One thing I did not see is a terminal fee, which always needs to be factored into the total cost.

Thank you Sir Michael for your comment. We believe that the terminal fee is already included in the bus fare.

Good day Ma'am Lala. Travel time from Pasay to Baguio is usually at around 5 to 6 hours and it depends on the traffic situations in EDSA. Happy vacation here in Baguio.

Hi, do you know a bus company that allow small dogs on board? Also, do you know Dagupan's (bus) contact number? Their contact number on faceboom doesn't seem to be working. Thank you.

Hello Sir/Ma'am Chase. We are not really sure about the policies of these bus companies about bringing of pets inside the bus. You might want to contact them directly and inquire about your concerns.

Hi Ma'am. We cannot really make a comparison on who's bus unit is the better since we have not experienced Joy Bus Deluxe. For Victory Liner First Class it's a pretty much decent bus with all the amenities of a first class and more space.

Hi Ma'am Jam. It depends po kung saan po ang starting point nyo sa City. If sa Session Road po and pickup point ninyo most probably it will be around 150-200 since outside of Baguio na po kasi ang Dinosaur Island.

Hello po Ma'am Ysha. If Genesis bus po ang sasakyan ninyo Ma'am most probably it will be also 2 stopovers but we're not just sure kung saan po. And if Joybus naman po since deluxe po sya maybe it will just be 1 stopover po.

Thank you for your query Ma'am Jennica. We always choose Victory Liner buses whenever we go to Manila and vice versa and so far we don't have any unfortunate incident with them. Their buses are okay and so too are their drivers and conductors. But, it's really depends on your choice Ma'am which bus company you are comfortable to ride.

You can book your trip to Baguio online and check the schedules for first class trip on the bus website (Victory Liner). Please be advised that Baguio is under Signal Number 3 now due to Typhoon Ompong and check if all main highways to Baguio are still passable. Thank you.

If Victory Cubao Station po kayo sasakay Sir, nasa around 5 hours po and depende din po sa traffic sa EDSA or sa NCLEX Toll Gate po sa Bocaue.
